About me
Anahita’s attention to detail and concept has led her research into anthropological studies of how space is used on a daily basis. Strongly believing that we live in a society where power is unevenly distributed, a good design can socially change a society’s behavior. Through her recent charity construction project in Morocco, Anahita has a greater appreciation of the impact reflecting on the user’s needs can have; specially those whose voices are not heard in the true democracy. “Architecture is about changing lives”
Anahita is one of the cofounders of WoArch, a theoretical architectural practice based in Hulme, Manchester. WoArch is dedicated in empowering vulnerable women through design. The team and our collaborators intend on designs that help revive personal histories/ herstories within the community whose voices do not get heard in the wider society.
